Kenyan authorities arrest fake lawyer who won all 26 cases he handled in court
**Kenyan Authorities Detain Fraudulent Lawyer Who Achieved a Record of 26 Consecutive Wins in Court**
A fraudulent lawyer, Brian Mwenda, has been detained by Kenyan authorities after successfully litigating 26 cases while falsely presenting himself as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
Reports indicate that the lawyer managed to secure victories in 26 cases before High Court Judges, Magistrates, and Court of Appeal Judges prior to his arrest.
The Law Society of Kenya (LSK) Nairobi Branch Rapid Action Team (RAT) apprehended him following public complaints about his false pretenses. It was disclosed that he lacks the necessary license to practice law in Kenya.
“It has been brought to the attention of the LSK Nairobi Branch through the Rapid Action Team (RAT), that the man has been presenting and conducting himself as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a member of LSK Nairobi Branch,” read part of the statement issued.
The suspect is currently being held at the RAT headquarters, pending further investigation.
