Rebecca De Mornay first appeared in a film as a cameo in One from the Heart, an American romantic musical film. Mornay played Slugger’s Wife and co-starred in The Trip to Bountiful and Runaway Train in 1985, both of which received Academy Award nominations.

Mornay appeared in a music video for the song ‘Sara’ with Starship’s Mickey Thomas the same year. On March 15, 1986, the song topped the Billboard charts. The Hand That Rocks The Cradle, Mornay’s most successful film, was released in 1992.

She also co-starred with Don Johnson in Sidney Lumet’s murder drama Guilty as Sin (1993). Mornay starred as Dr. Sarah Taylor in the 1995 American thriller Never Talk To Strangers, for which she also served as executive producer. She also appeared in the first two episodes of Boomtown’s second season in 2003.

She has two children, Sophia, born on November 16, 1997, and Veronica, born on March 31, 2001, with her ex-boyfriend, Patrick O’Neal, a former actor and current Fox Sports West/Prime Ticket studio host/reporter.
