Report: MJF Has Not Been Spotted Backstage Ahead Of AEW Double Or Nothing (Updated)
The controversy surrounding continues to swirl ahead of AEW Double or Nothing.
“The Salt of the Earth” no-showed a Meet & Greet at the Fan Fest on May 28. A plane ticket out of Las Vegas was reportedly purchased for him, but it’s unclear who bought it. Rumors and reports continue to swirl, but they have made it clear that, in recent months, MJF has been frustrated with the promotion as his free agency in 2024 looms.
In an update, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that the Dynamite Diamond Ring winner has not been spotted backstage ahead of the pay-per-view on Sunday. As of this writing, the show is a few hours away, but talent typically arrives at the venue well in advance the day of the show.
Update: Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer also reported that MJF was not at the building as of a few minutes ago.
