Sierra Is Grateful For 2023 IMPACT Wrestling Debut, Hopes To Return
Sierra is grateful for her 2023 appearance in IMPACT Wrestling.
2023 was a noteworthy year for Sierra. While holding multiple championships, the Wisconsin native wrestled 92 matches across 35 different promotions, one of which was IMPACT Wrestling. Last April, Sierra was invited to take part in IMPACT’s television tapings, where she was then penciled in to face Jody Threat. Sierra recently looked back on this opportunity during an interview with WrestleZone‘s Ella Jay, expressing her hope to return to the company again in the future.
“It was so fun,” Sierra said. “Obviously, I had the nerves. It was very last minute, it was like week of. I got a message of like ‘Hey are you able to do this?’ I came in feeling very unprepared in a way. I mean, I had everything I could need, but still maybe the mental preparation [was a slight challenge] because it was that week.”
“Felt like I got comfortable very, very quick when I arrived because there’s a lot of people there that I’ve seen before, a lot of girls that I’ve wrestled. So I was able to kind of like ease into it and get really comfortable. Then the rest was just enjoying the moment and taking it in. I felt very very excited and grateful to be able to do that. It was a lot of fun, and obviously, of course, I would love to do it again.”
Sierra’s match against Jody Threat marked her official IMPACT Wrestling debut. The company has since rebranded into its former name TNA Wrestling — a change that was officially put into effect at January’s Hard To Kill event.
